Apart from functional and constructive requirements, the articulation of the interior levels was subject to an idea of architectural composition related to the public image of the building. As an exterior image, in other words as a public and communal image, the project presents the use of three materials (concrete, glass and vegetation) which, in the definition of the functional characteristics of the interior space, appear opaque or transparent, structural or belonging to the cladding or protection.
A group of patios excavated in the volumes of the building make for the direct illumination of the interior spaces as well as providing natural ventilation by means of the introduction of small but restful interior gardens. These empty spaces relate typologically to the concept of a building with a patio in which nature left outdoors comes back indoors through the roof.
The use of materials on the façade clearly defines the volumes corresponding to the requirements of functionality, durability and maintenance, respecting the architectural image that aims to be contemporary and appealing.
